Welcome

We are extremely lucky to be one of the few pediatric dental practices in the area to be offering the services of a highly qualified, board-certified orthodontist. We are fully staffed and equipped to provide all orthodontic services in the orthodontic portion of our practice. We are completely integrated between both of our specialties. Our doctors share all x-rays and patient information, making a seamless transition between pediatric dentistry and orthodontics.

We practice orthodontics just as we practice pediatric dentistry, in a very conservative way. Our orthodontist only recommends treatment that has been proven to be effective by ample orthodontic research. He understands and embraces the fact that everyone does not require orthodontic treatment.

Additionally, we are the only pediatric/orthodontic practice that has an onsite lab with the latest technology in 3-D digital scanning and 3-D digital printing. This provides additional treatment options, increases patient comfort and convenience, and means no more impressions!

We treat orthodontic patients of all ages, whether they are our pediatric dental patients, their parents, or patients from other dental offices (both children and adults). We are very excited that adult orthodontics is becoming a larger part of our orthodontic practice every year. So mom and dad, grab a seat next to your child! We practice family orthodontics here.

A child’s first visit to the orthodontist can be as early as seven years old; however, malocclusions (bad bites and crooked teeth) can be improved at any age. We offer a complimentary initial appointment to determine whether or not orthodontic treatment is indicated.

Contemporary Orthodontics

Orthodontics is a lot different than days past! Gone is the "Tin Grin" as it was once described. Braces these days are smaller and more comfortable than ever and can even be invisible in some cases. The new materials used in orthodontic treatment are actually space-aged! (The nickel-titanium alloy was originally engineered by NASA to automatically activate antennae or solar panels of spacecraft orbiting into the sun's rays.) By utilizing the latest technological advances in orthodontics, we are able to achieve an outstanding treatment outcome, while always keeping patient comfort as a primary concern.

Our orthodontist understands that some people might be a little apprehensive about dental treatment. He works very hard to make sure every patient and their family feel at home and have a good experience in the office. His caring and compassionate personality makes children and adults of all ages feel comfortable and relaxed.

Goal

Our goal is to provide our patients with orthodontic treatment of the highest quality in a caring and friendly manner. Our staff is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in achieving our goal. Please feel free to ask questions. The more you know and understand about your treatment, the better we will be able to work together to provide you with a healthy and beautiful smile. We welcome and encourage parents to come back to the treatment area with our younger patients. We feel this keeps the lines of communication open and parents involved in the child’s treatment.

Initial Appointment

At the initial orthodontic appointment, we will gather orthodontic records to include digital x-rays, digital photographs, a 3-D digital scan of the teeth (radiation free), and the doctor will perform a clinical examination. Using this information, the doctor will determine whether orthodontic treatment is recommended.

We practice orthodontics in a very conservative way. Every patient does not require orthodontic treatment. However, if treatment is recommended, we will thoroughly review the treatment plan, the financial and insurance information, and answer any questions that you may have. This is a courtesy visit and no fee is charged.

Dental Care

Patients should have their teeth cleaned and all cavities restored before orthodontic treatment begins. We recommend and encourage regular visits to your dentist throughout orthodontic treatment.

Each Patient Is Unique

We firmly believe that no two patients are the same. We collect comprehensive diagnostic records and our doctor thoroughly evaluates this information before formulating a treatment plan customized to each patient’s individual needs.
