Dr. AJ Patel has been providing quality dental care for the children in the Ashburn, Virginia area since October 2004. He attended the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the School of Dentistry at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. Dr. Patel then continued on in Richmond to complete his post-doctoral training in pediatrics.

Dr. Patel caters to the dental needs of infants, children and young adults. He provides preventive dental care as well as restorative treatment with the option of nitrous oxide, oral conscious sedation and IV sedation for children who are uneasy about their dental visit.
Away from the office, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his family: his wife, Manisha, and their three sons.
Joseph S. Errera, DDS

Dr. Joe grew up in Lake Ridge, Virginia and graduated from high school in 1994. He attended the University of Virginia where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in 1998. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond in 2002. He then moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he completed his Orthodontic Residency at Nova Southeastern University and received a Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 2004. He was eager to return to Virginia and has been practicing orthodontics in the area since.
Dr. Joe resides in Gainesville with his wife, Cristina, and daughter, Giovanna. He loves spending time with his family, traveling to new places, and cooking. His favorite activity is firing up the BBQ on a cool summer evening.
Dr. Joe is truly a kid at heart and relates exceptionally well with patients of all ages. He is able to make them feel comfortable and relaxed and prides himself on creating a fun and inviting atmosphere in the office.
Dr. Joe consistently strives to improve his knowledge and expertise in the orthodontic field. He is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, indicating his lifelong pursuit of the highest standards of excellence in orthodontic care. As a Board Certified Orthodontist he has invested a significant amount of time and effort above that which is required of a standard, practicing orthodontist, and has been examined and evaluated by the top clinicians in the field. He has gone through a rigorous certification process which tests his knowledge and skills in all aspects of orthodontic treatment.
Additionally, Dr. Joe attends continuing education courses regularly to stay on top of the most recent advances in the field, ensuring he is delivering state-of-the-art treatment to his patients. He believes in only utilizing the newest, most advanced and research-proven materials, the most high-tech equipment, and most importantly, the most CONSERVATIVE treatment plans for his patients. He is of the mindset, which is supported by ample orthodontic research, that not every child requires orthodontic care.
Dr. Joe participates in the Northern Virginia Orthodontic Study Club and is a member of a Spear Dental Study Club in Warrenton, VA. The Spear Club is composed of Dentists from all dental specialties working together to discuss and plan treatment for complicated, multi-disciplinary cases and share knowledge and expertise. Dr. Joe is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the Virginia Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society.
